Gambia has arrived in Dar ready for the Game...

The Gambian National team was expected to arrive in Dar es Salaam on Thursday evening ahead of Sunday’s World Cup qualifier against Tanzania’s Taifa Stars.
The Scorpions were initially scheduled to land in Tanzania on June 6 but were held up at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi following a mishap at the airport earlier in the day.
Meanwhile, Taifa Stars are ready to fight and secure the three points on progress infront of the home crowd.
The team will hold a training session in the morning and evening at the National Stadium according to Kim Poulsen's programme, while the visitors Gambia are expected to train on Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Hq grounds.
"The Journey of building the team has begun. The match against the Ivory Coast has passed and I thank the players for responding well and playing with dedication and according to my instructions. Football is a game of mistakes, we made mistakes which resulted in easy goals conceded. We will have several training sessions towards the game, and the players are doing well, and expecting top performances on Sunday," said coach Poulsen.
